Route 66 Storyteller

ONCE UPON
A ROAD
The Route 66 Storyteller

Whatever happened to the barefoot shoeshine boy on old route 66? He rose through the ranks to become the owner of the iconic Club Café in Santa Rosa, New Mexico, where he rode the wave of the nostalgic
Mother Road
that became the rage of the age. He is Ron Chávez, writer of fiction and poetry set on this dramatic corridor.  Today, a talented film maker and a group of committed volunteers wish to create a documentary about the Route 66 Storyteller, Ron Chávez.

The purpose of this feature-length documentary is to preserve the stories of a man who has lived to tell and immortalize his true-life experiences on this old byway, since 1942.

We seek funding for this special project to commemorate for all time the color and pageantry that enchanted America's road warriors for six decades, since 1926.

Check Kickstarter under the title Route 66 Storyteller for pledge support starting March 15, 2012. Up dates www.timeoftriumph.net Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!

The Unknown Writer's Hell

After receiving rave reviews on my two books on amazon, Kirkus Review, Facebook and in my hometown newspaper, the Taos News as well as recitals, I am still unknown.  This is because without target marketing nothing happens.  With lots of hard work on the internet, I have to believe I am getting close to catching fire.  By now I am on three e-book publications: http://46s.biz/, Kindle and Smashwords.  I have my own site http://www.timeoftriumph.net/.  Recently I have hooked up with a Youtube marketing guy.  I stay current on Facebook.  To find me on Youtube, go to Youtube and click on Youtube - Broadcast Yourself and once on Youtube page search: Winds of Wildfire-The Novel.

Here is a sample of what people are commenting about my literary works:
Pauline Jenks, Editor: ePublishing For Success. “We consider Winds of Wildfire to be a future classic permanently etched in the minds of generations to come.” http://46S.Biz

Amazon Review:
“Ronald Chávez writes with the pace and feel of a Michael Crichton thriller and the frankness of Walt Whitman.  The imagery of Chávez’s New Mexico is breathtakingly distinctive.”  www.timeoftriumph.net

I am willing to work with other unknown writers in their search for exposure by publishing a short guide on this Blog to find ways to sell their works.  Please let me know if this would be of interest to anyone.

We need three things:  Perspiration, Perserverance and Passion.
